I thought it was about time that I blogged about what parents have been saying about Pili Pala Childrenswear. I recently shared a bottle of wine with a good friend of mine and after about the third glass (shocking I know!) Pili Pala in an organic sense, became the topic of conversation. I had for some time now been weary of discussing Pili Pala with her, because in all honesty, I was really afraid of what she was going to say. You see, this particular friend has that rare gift / curse of always telling the truth, even when you really want them to lie! After telling me that the brown and green stripe jumper wasn't really her cup of tea, she made a point of telling me how her two and half year old daughter always wants to wear the organic bloomer trousers. In fact, she insists on sleeping in them! Naturally, I got a kick out of that! A few months ago, I had a parent tell me that there little girl insisted on wearing the stripy leggings and the stripy T-shirt all the time. It reminded her of Thomas the Tank Engine! That's fine with me. I don't mind being associated with Thomas. My own little boy is also very keen to wear Pili Pala. I use to think that was because he knows that "mummy makes them" so to speak, but recently I'm not so sure. He makes it very clear what he wants to wear and no amount of bribery is going to change his mind. These days he is mostly confined to a school uniform during the week, but come Saturday morning, you can bet that the brown slash neck jumper and matching organic trousers is the favourite to win. Ahhh! Makes a mum proud!

Firstly, let me start by wishing everyone a very happy new year. I see each new year as many do themselves as a clean start. I hope this year in particular is kind to us as 2009 proved to be quite a roller coaster, not only financially but emotionally. It is with this in mind that I embrace the new year with optimism and hope.
As Pili Pala enters 2010, I thought it might be useful to round up what has been proving popular on the childrens clothes front. Following my recent trip to Brighton's Christmas Market, I am happy to announce that Pili Pala did really well. Having never done it before, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was really pleased with the results. The girls pinafore dress sold really well along with the matching leggings and jersey tops, in particular the organic logo top. On the Boys front, the chocolate brown and lime green striped trousers proved popular along with the slash neck jumper and matching trousers in chocolate brown.
I've also had quite a few enquiries regarding baby clothes. I'm therefore so excited to share with that you that for 2010, Pili Pala Childrenswear will be launching our very own organic cotton babygroes. HOORAY!
